Girl Talk

Lissy Jablonski is trying to work out how she got to be twenty-nine, P regnant, and boyfriend-less. In the midst of dealing with her old friend Church and his impending marriage to a Korean stripper, she looks back to her fifteenth summer - the year her father ran away with the red-haired bank teller. At how she and her mother fled home and stayed with the uncle of her mother's teenage love. And the 'girl talk' she'd had with her mother, keen to relive the stories of her youth, including the mythical member of her great love, Anthony Pantuliano. And gradually, by remembering these magical times in the past, Lissy finds her self able to make decisions as to how she can confront the future.
