Lynn had it all - a loving partner, a beautiful home, and most importantly for her, the job of her dreams. She'd worked hard to rise to the position of assistant manager at boutique hotel, The Hawthorne Inn, and she was passionate about the job. But then one day, seemingly out of the blue, she walks away from the hotel and her position there. And a few days later she is taken into hospital suffering from depression. What has caused her to fall apart? Her partner, Mark, is there to support her, but he can't work out why she does not seem to be the same girl he first met. Then, when her father suffers a stroke, Lynn must summon all her energy to help run his independent shop. But she is carrying a secret about why she really left The Hawthorne Inn.
